2. The Tourist
Stuck in development hell for over 30 years, its unlikely The Tourist will ever be put into production. The closest it came was when the script, written by Clair Noto, was doing the rounds through Hollywood. Universal bought the script and charged Quadrophenia director Franc Roddam and production designer H.R. Giger, famous for Alien, to bring the project to the big screen. It proved to be a lost cause and Noto’s vision of a film about a “sex-charged Man in Black” might never be realised.
