6. Guardians of the Galaxy
The only film on the list that isn’t a remake or a sequel, Guardians of the Galaxy has got a lot riding on it. Not only does it have to contend with keeping up Marvel’s nearly spotless reputation, it also has to introduce a whole new side of Marvel’s comic universe. The film centres upon the superhero team lead by Starlord (Chris Pratt) and his merry band of space psychos that include, Drax the Destroyer (WWE’s Dave Bautista), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Groot, a sentient tree played by Vin Diesel, and the real wild card: Rocket Raccoon (voiced by Bradley Cooper). Directed by Super’s James Gunn, this promises to be Marvel’s most bonkers film to date.
