7. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part One
After the success of Catching Fire, there is no doubt that the third Hunger Games film: Mockingjay Part 1, will be yet another box office botherer. Featuring the final screen appearance of Philip Seymour Hoffman, and the addition of Julianne Moore, Mockingjay certainly has serious acting chops. And of course, at the centre of everything yet again is Jennifer “can do no wrong” Lawrence, as Katniss. While the second Mockingjay film, out next year, will be more successful, Part 1 will still make a healthy profit that, even if it doesn’t match the success of the first two films, will further cement The Hunger Games popularity.
