8. The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies
Three years and nine hours in the making we finally get to the end of The Hobbit trilogy. Sure to cause equal feelings of sadness (the films have been really good, even by Jackson’s standards), and relief (we can stop raging that a 300 page book became three over-long movies), The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies will mark the, hopefully, final time we see Peter Jackson’s Middle Earth. With the previous films both making over a billion dollars, the third film in the series looks likely to be its most successful.
