10 Performances the Critics Missed
6. Matthew Goode- Stoker
This is another tragic case of being trapped in a movie with just too many excellent people in it. In addition to that, Stoker was really a movie about women- Nicole Kidman and Mia Wasikowski proved that with stunning, strong performances that dominated the movie. But what would the film have been if not for the fantastic Matthew Goode? A strong, enigmatic figure with just the right amount of charm, there was something about him that landed just between sleazy and sexy. A hard pitch to get right, and a truly sensational performance from Goode.
