10. Dogtooth
Like all great disturbing movies, Dogtooth leaps disconcertingly between genres before you get a chance to settle in the last one. Part the blackest of black comedy, part horror, part psychological torture, you’re thrown from world to world in seconds trying to keep up with the Greek modern classic. Following a small group of siblings confined to a country estate as they begin to get exposed to the outside world, it’s full of distinctive imagery and strange, strange performances. Undoubtedly disturbing.
