Celine Dion’s “My Heart will Go On” may be the thing you hate most about Titanic, but it was nearly rejected by James Cameron, who after hearing it put it in the films closing credits. Cue worldwide sales and an Oscar for Dion. What you didn’t know is that the song has a sneaky history. Cameron only wanted to use music from the score. Upon hearing this composer James Horner worked in secret with Dion and lyricist Will Jennings to write the song.
