10. Peter Pan
Based on J.M Barrie’s play Peter Pan, or the Boy Who Wouldn’t Grow Up, Peter Pan is a magical tale of what it means to be an imaginative child. All the characters in the original play became icons thanks to Disney’s version of the story. Peter Pan and the Lost Boys, Tinkerbell (who became part of the Disney brand), Wendy, and everyone’s secret favorite Captain Hook. This was the last film Disney released through RKO Productions before it became a company in its own right.
