The Disney channel love their outsider/underdog stories. This is taken to the max in the 1999 film Genius. The film revolves around a boy genius who is so smart that he gets in to college. Feeling socially unaccepted he creates an alter-ego and enrolls in junior high with the aim of becoming popular. This is standard always be yourself stuff from the House of Mouse, but what is good about the film is the message it gives that we all belong somewhere.
