15 Most Offensive Characters in Film
11. Vick Ran, Lady in the Water
The first of o M Night Shamalyan’s quidrilogy of error (along with The Happening, The Last Airbender, and After Earth), Lady in the Water is a self-satisfied mess of a movie. Offensive to anyone who watched it praying for a return to his early form, instead they got a film in which he put himself at the center of the action as a writer whose word would (eventually) save the world. Talk about full of yourself, this was a case of the director believing his own hype to a fault.
