15. Rasputia Latimore, Norbit
Lastly we have Rasputia Latimore, the proof that sexism and anti-feminism can be mined to try and save Eddie Murphy’s career. Thankfully Norbit bombed and is a main stay in many worst film polls. Rasputia, played by Murphy himself, is the nightmare girlfriend come to life. All the clichés are here: the big fat loud-mouth psycho girlfriend is the worst of comedies lowest common denominators. Murphy’s career has never recovered and on the evidence of Norbit, it serves him right.
