How do you nearly ruin a children’s classic and every cat lover’s favorite Disney films? Answer: make your cats into racial stereotypes. Shun Gon from Disney’s (Disney again!) The Aristocats is the main offender here. In the fan favorite show-stopping song “Everybody Wants to be a Cat,” you can “ee Shun Gon, with his squint eyes playing the piano with chop sticks.” If you need me to tell why this is wrong then you probably worked for Disney in the 50s.
