10 Actors Who Are Born to Play One Role
7. Samuel Jackson
Let’s face it, every film needs a bit of Samuel Jackson (that goes twice for the bad ones). While Jackson is a fine actor when it comes to playing dangerous thugs with a hint of conscience, such as in Pulp Fiction, and even playing Nick Fury (that dude is cold!). These traits bleed into all of his other performances. It’s great when he goes full on evil, like in Jackie Brown and Django Unchained (in which he’s one half of a fantastically brutal double act with Leo). It’s just that the man has so much obvious energy that a quiet and nuanced performance is just out of his reach. The less said about Snakes on a Plane the better.
