10. The Cameo
For better or for worse, Tarantino likes to cameo in his own films-that’s just a sad fact of the industry. He wanted to cast himself as Lance (the drug dealer with the adrenalin shot), but decided he’d rather stay behind the camera for that scene-choosing instead to play Jimmie Dimmick. So who was behind the camera then? Tarantino’s future collaborator Robert Rodriguez took over directing duties for those scenes, even though he’s uncredited.
