Shane Carruth’s long awaited sequel to the time travel, migraine inducing, Primer. Typically since the film was written, directed, produced and stars Carruth, it is his singular vision that we are treated to. The film follows Kris and Jeff: two lonely people who are mysteriously drawn to each other. What they don’t know is that they are both hosts to parasites, which are causing their connection. That’s the basics of the plot, but there us so much to enjoy in a film that, if anything, is even more gratingly interesting than Primer.
