3. Oculus
While it might seem like the industry’s not really trying these days, what with churning out seemingly endless and totally samey supernatural movies all the time. However, Oculus has received a fair amount of festival buzz for it’s disturbing and intelligent brand of horror, as it follows the story of two siblings who watched their parents breakdown to madness and murder as children. It might not be brand new, but the hype around it promises something interesting and tightly made.
