10. Batman: Darknight
This briefly considered project was designed to take the character back to his roots. The film would find Bruce Wayne in a crisis as he abandons his alter ego because his enemies don’t fear him anymore. Dick Grayson attends Gotham University under the unsettling guidance of Doctor Jonathan Crane. The film would deal with Crane’s transformation into the Scarecrow, and his many experiments. One of which causes his colleague Dr Kirk Langston to become the Manbat. The whole thing sounds ridiculous frankly.
Any other unsuccessful attempts to re-imagine the Dark Knight, or are there any other comic book films that were almost made? Please comment.
