10 Movies Made For $100,000
2. Colin
While Colin is by no means a great film (hell, its complete crap), you’ve got to give credit to writer and director Marc Price for getting it made at all. The cheapest film on the list by far, Colin was made for £45. Yes, that’s right, £45. Utilizing both Facebook and Myspace to find actors, and editing the film on his home computer, Colin wins the gold medal for most unlikely film to be shown at Cannes. And shown at Cannes it was, in 2009, the same year Hollywood heavyweights Up and Inglorious Basterds were shown. No, I’m not kidding.
