10. Heroes

And to round off this list, another happy ending for unsatisfied fans. Although Heroes had found itself slipping in the ratings after four seasons, few people expected it to be suddenly canned half-way through a major story arc. The show-which was, for a time, one of the most popular shows in the world- featured a world in which superpowers were real- and supervillains were too. It hustled in years’ worth of supernatural, horror-based, and fantasy shows that were to clog up our screens for seasons to come, and many were disappointed that the daddy of them all didn’t get a chance to reach it’s full potential. The good news, though? Heroes was recently commissioned for a reboot series, entitled Reborn, that’s due for release at some point next year- whether we’ll get the answers we’re looking for remains to be seen, but settling in with some old friends can never be a bad thing.
