10 TV Shows That Should Have Run Forever
7. Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip
For everyone who thought that the gang from Friends never really went on to do anything after the sitcom finished, think again. Matthew Perry (of Chandler fame) pulled it out of the hat for this perceptive look into the inner workings of the entertainment world, sprung straight from the mind of TV royalty Aaron Sorkin (he of The Newsroom and The West Wing, both TV classics in their own right). It lost out to 30 Rock in the inevitable meta ratings war.
