8. Pushing Daisies

A show that comes up again and again in conversations about the most unceremoniously dumped shows of all time, Pushing Daisies is an unfortunate loss in the great Warner Brothers cull of 2009. Following the tales and foiblies of Ned, a pie-maker with the ability to bring people back from the dead with one touch. Problem is? He touches them again and they die-for good. So when he brings back his childhood sweetheart, played by Anna Friel, hilarity ensues. And it genuinely does- this witty, quirky show was really doing things that no other show on television would dare to, mixing jet-black humour with a Technicolor backdrop and sweet core romance story. Many people were outraged after it was dropped after only a few seasons, and unfortunately for Ned, it looks like even his magic touch can’t revive this show.
