6. 12 Angry Men
Another film that you’ve probably heard a lot about if not actually seen-12 Angry Men is often written off as an influential film that’s probably not really worth watching in and of itself. You can’t imagine how wrong this is- following Henry Fonda as the only juror deeming a convict “innocent” after a lengthy trial, it’s a film that’s purely based around conversation, intelligence, and several glorious performances from everyone involved. Gritty, surprisingly prescient, and relevant even today, it’s a must-see.
