5. Sound Effects Magic
You might not really think about it, but Star Wars is full of very particular sound effects-one of the most obvious being that of the lightsaber. It was originally invented by Ben Burtt after he walked past a muted TV while holding a microphone- to this, he then mixed in the sound of a film projector monitor to create the distinctive hum we hear today. He also sampled a sea otter to create the idiosyncratic moo-ing of the tauntauns.
