8. Script Troubles
While there were numerous changes made to the script between it’s inception and the filming of the series (no-one would remember Luke Starkiller, after all), many of the actors still had problems with Lucas’…interesting writing style. Alec Guiness (who thought the film looked terrible anyway, and barely wanted to get involved in the first place) begged George to kill off Obi-Wan just so he didn’t have to go on reading his “bloody awful” dialogue, while Harrison Ford once famously said “You can write this sh*t, George, but you can’t say it”.
