10. Lady, the Tramp, Peg, and Jock in One Hundred and One Dalmatians
This is a cameo tinged with sadness. Lady, the Tramp, Peg and Jock are seen barking in distress when Pongo lets out a rallying bark when his children go missing. Again, this could have been good sub-plot material with Disney’s various canine characters from its other films going on a reconnaissance mission and eventually staging a puppy jailbreak Great Escape style. You’ve got to credit Disney though with this one small scene, the consequences of the puppies going missing is felt even deeper.
