3. Belle in Hunchback of Notre Dame
The Hunchback of Notre Dame is one of the scariest and saddest Disney films ever. The Hunchback, despite being the hero of the story, doesn’t get the girl and is responsible for the (rightful, he was evil) death of the man who was the closest thing he had to a father. Don’t be too sad though, your favorite Beast tamer Belle makes a brief appearance, hinting the very cool idea of Hunchback and Beauty and the Beast taking place in the same universe.
