6. Mickey, Donald, and Goofy in The Little Mermaid
Let’s talk about Disney’s expectations for the Little Mermaid. The studio clearly knew they had a winner on their hands by getting the original Rat Pack (or is that Mouse Pack) to clear their schedules and appear in this crowd scene. That King Triton’s got a lot of pull if he can get Mickey (to follow through on the metaphor: Frank Sinatra), Goofy (Dean Martin), and Donald (Sammy Davis Jr) to make a star-studded cameo.
