12. The Descendants
George Clooney is good at acting and because of The Descendants we all know it. What else do we know because of The Descendants? Shaliene Woodley is an ok actress who looks great in a bikini, Michael Ontkean did get work after Twin Peaks (just not much of it: he’s a blink and you’ll miss him member of Clooney’s in-laws), Alexander Payne really likes his characters wearing sandals and have middle-class breakdowns. All in all, very educational.
