13. The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug
Really it should be branded “The director that waited 3 hours, 12 months, and then 2 hours, to reveal Smaug”. That tagline could fit on a bus, right? Yes the Desolation of Smaug is dominated by both the presence and the absence of the titular dragon. It is lucky that the Benedict Cumberbatch voiced, and mo-capped don’t forget, dragon is so worth the wait. Now just another six months to find out what happens to him.
