The moron who gave the film the title is the author and main character Lynn Barber. Barber, being an intellectual, decided on a less crude title for the memoir of her coming of age experience. To call the film “They Have Sex” goes against the charm and poise that Barber is known for but it would have given you a better clue of what the film was actually about instead of the pretentious double-meaning of the real title.
