13. A Beautiful Mind
Ron Howard’s Oscar winning A Beautiful Mind tells the true(ish) story of John Nash: a Princeton professor who went a bit mad. Starring Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, and Ed Harris, A Beautiful Mind is a great psychological drama, yet it does play fast and loose with the truth. For instance: Nash was in fact a lot crazier in real life (something that Crowe used in his method fighting at the 2001 Baftas), his wife divorced him, and he never gave an acceptance speech for the Nobel Prize.
