3. Strange Days
Yep, even with now-Oscar winning director Kathryn Bigelow attached- with the bonus of production from her then-husband, James Cameron- Strange Days just wasn’t doing it for audiences. You get the feeling that now it would have been a huge hit, with big names behind and in front of camera (Ralph Fiennes plays a cop turned street hustler), but at the time it fell flat- earning a cult status in the years that followed, but ultimately forgotten in favour of the director’s bigger fare.
