Top 10 Halloween Scares
10. Cabin in the Woods
Leave it to Joss Whedon to make a horror so meta that it becomes a complete game changer. Co-written and directed by Drew Goddard, you can’t really say much about the plot of Cabin in the Woods without giving the game away. It’s a movie that’s scarier, funny, and more unbelievable, if you come to it cold. What I can tell you is that it takes place in a cabin in the woods (I know, I’m so helpful) and stars Chris Hemsworth pre-Thor, and is full of actors from the Whedonverse, like Amy Acker and Fran Kranz. This is the movie to end all Halloween movies.
Go on, tell me I’m not a real horror fan, or agree with my choices. Either-way, please comment. Just try not to scare me.
