If the world existed before The Evil Dead I don’t want to know about it. A world without director Sam Raimi and star, geek hero, Bruce Campbell isn’t worth living in. Their debut feature: The Evil Dead, is a tour-de-force of horror. Raimi’s stalking camerawork, the fountains of blood, and Campbell’s gut-bustingly funny impression of acting make this a must see for Halloween. Just not in a cabin, and not in the woods.
