3. The Wicker Man
The original Wicker Man is one of the horror genres creepiest films, and one of the best British horror films of all time. The remake, starring real-life horror Nicholas Cage, is one of the worst desecrations of a classic ever to be put to film. On the bright =side, many of its more bat-shit moments have been fueling internet memes (which keep the internet alive). One of its biggest crimes is that it’s just not scary. In fact, watched the right way, it could almost be a Spinal Tap style spoof of talentless morons trying to remake a cult classic, and their eventual failure.
