7. Babe
As long as you try very, very hard to forget that James Cromwell won an Emmy for playing an evil fetish-laden Nazi doctor in American Horror Story, this film is still as much of a charming delight as it ever was. Kind of outrageously lovely, this movie, based on the popular farmyard books, spawned us the most enduringly hilarious post-coital remark in history: “That’ll do, pig. That’ll do”. Wait, or was that when the dog show thing was over? I forget. Still, an amazing movie, and too sweet for words.
