6. Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story
In the original ending for Dodgeball, just as it looks like the Average Joes are going to sneak to a well-earned victory, White Goodman steals the lead and his team win. Cut to credits. No, seriously, that darkly hilarious ending would have improved the movie ten times-but test audiences apparently reacted badly to it so the bad response was assuaged with a happier and much less funny ending. As White Goodman says over the end credits, “Yeah, hope you’re all happy now. Good guy wins, bad guy loses”.
