8. Scott Pilgrim vs The World
This comic book adaptation quickly gained a cult following thanks to it’s stunning visuals, quick-fire humour, and brilliant performances-but it might well have ended differently. The story revolves around Scott Pilgrim battling through the seven evil exes of Ramona Flowers to prove his love for her. He gets her in the end-but in another version of the movie, he winds up with Knives Chau, his sweet and ass-kicking ex-girlfriend. It makes a lot more sense in terms of the film as a whole, and Ramona never really seemed worth it to me.
