9. Little Shop of Horrors
The ending to Little Shop of Horrors features Rick Moranis defeating Audrey II and them all living happily ever after. This was only inserted after test audiences reacted badly to the original ending-which featured Audrey II killing everyone, and, with his seeds spread across America, enacting an enforced takeoever. Director Frank Oz and Rick Moranis preferred this ending-and in the stage version of the musical, this is the ending that’s given. Talk about unwanted greenery.
