7. Woman In the Moon

Fritz Lang did adore his glimpses into the future-and Woman In the Moon, released in 1929, was just that. Aside from successfully predicting that man (or in this case, woman) would one day make it to the moon (exactly forty years later, in fact), he also nailed the design of the shuttle as well as the build-up to lift-off and the huge media furore that surrounded the trip into space. And damn, does it look beautiful.
