10 Forgettable “Amazing” Movies
9. The Matrix
So, maybe you loved The Matrix when it came out. Maybe you were blown away by the admittedly awesome visuals. But how long did it take you to realise the movie was a portentous, pretentious piece of crap? The script is so worthy that it’s hard not to take in a line of dialogue without rolling your eyes, and Keanu Reeve’s notoriously bad acting is matched by his co-stars, the once-wonderful Laurence Fishburne and Carrie-Anne Moss who might be the female equivalent of Keanu’s death of talent. Like the most popular girl in school, pretty, but snobbish.
