8. Army of Darkness
When Sam Raimi made his debut feature The Evil Dead, he did so on next to no budget, relying on advertising and support from the rest of the horror community. And he got it-and how. The movie took off all over the world and spawned two sequels and a remake-and one of it’s biggest supporters was long-running horror news magazine Fangoria. As a nod to their help, Raimi featured a copy of Fangoria in a single shot in Army of Darkness, the second sequel to Evil Dead, as a thank-you for their help.
