15. Gladiator
Ridley Scott is a repeat offender when it comes to messing up basic movie stuff- and one of his worst movies for this was the much-adored Gladiator. As well as giving us a cheeky glimpse of Russel Crowe’s lycra shorts during a fight scene, he also managed to dump a crew member in a large coliseum shot. This might not be so bad if it were a more modern movie, but he’s practically unmissable when you stick him in with the plebians of Rome.
