6. Dead Ringers
In this movie, Jeremy Irons plays a dual role as twin gynaecologists who have a nasty habit of sharing lovers as no-one can tell them apart. Things go wrong when one of them becomes attached to a lover, and both of them wind up in a lot of trouble. The story is loosely based on the still-unsolved case of Stewart and Cyril Marcus, who were found dead due to barbiturate withdrawal with no explanation.
