As misquoted sayings go, this one at least is a little understandable. Frankly, the misquoted version is a whole lot more interesting than the line Geroge Lucas wrote in the script for the ultimate dramatic clash between our hero Luke Skywalker and the trashbag clad villain Darth Vader- instead of the usually-heard “Luke, I am your father”, the line is in fact “No-I am your father”. Intonation and words are a little different in the real version of the movie.
