While The Dark Knight was essentially dominated by the powerhouse performance from Heath Ledger as the Joker, Aaron Eckhart played a quieter role as Harvey Dent, a politician who winds up becoming villain Two-Face after one particularly bad day. His performance was in the underacting and the gradual build up to insanity-seeing a good man turn bad is inherently more unsettling than seeing a bad man turn good, as proved by this sensational performance from Eckhart.
