Ah, I can already tell that you’re saying his voice-with the accent-in your head as you’re reading this. Hans Gruber, the villain in Die Hard played by a deliciously snooty Alan Rickman, came to represent everything we wanted in our action movie bad guys- super evils, a complete lack of morals, and the ability to get almost anything you want done. Throw in an awesome accent and a high level of campy fun and we’re onto a winner. No-one betters Alan Rickman as a villain.
