Just because a character is the protagonist doesn’t mean he’s the good guy, right? Just ask Cobb and Arthur from Inception (played by Leonardo Dicaprio and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, respectively). Entering illegally into people’s dreams to mess around with what goes on inside their heads, why do we find ourselves to attracted (in all senses) to these dirty criminals? I’ll tell you why: because law-breaking never looked as cool as this after Pulp Fiction. Can’t beat a well-groomed man in a suit to defy society’s rules!
