6. Gone with the What?
And it’s not just modern movies that suffer from these kind of silly mistakes. No, Gone with the Wind, the romantic classic starring Vivien Leigh and Clark Gable, had it’s fair share of gaffs too. For one, the Tarleton brothers, who play twins in the movie, have their roles switched in the opening credits-which is made even more obvious when the two ask Vivien Leigh for a dance and address each other by name. And a glitch with the camera work meant that, in one particularly romantic escape sequence, the lover’s carriage turns transparent while still in shot. Riding off into the sunset a little too prematurely, if you like. You can also spot a supposedly gas lamp with an electrical cord dangling out of the back of it!
