4. Blast from the Past

This cheerleading experience was also handy in other ways. Not all the cheers in Bring It On were written specifically for the film-in fact, the cheer that Kirsten Dunst hears drifting in through her hotel window actually originated at Dunst’s alma mater, where she was a cheerleader. It was borrowed for the film to give her something recognisable to react. Several traditional cheers can be heard throughout the movie, too.
